It is possible to compile native Windows Edacious libraries using Cygwin.
If the Edacious configuration script detects a Cygwin environment, it will
automatically include the -mno-cygwin
compiler flag, such that the
resulting libraries do not depend on the Cygwin library.
- Edacious depends on the Agar library. Follow the steps described in the Agar installation guide.

At this point, you should be ready to compile and install Edacious:
$ tar -xzf edacious-*.tar.gz $ cd edacious-* $ ./configure && make && make install
